Extremely durable, opaque exterior finish!
Öl-Farbe is an opaque, satin, natural oil-based finish for wood in outdoor areas. Thixotropic formulation, the finish will not drip or splatter and is, therefore, especially suited to working overhead. Wood tone and grain is covered. The wood texture remains noticeable. The high solids content allows for a thin coat for high product coverage. The microporous finish allows wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage. At the same time, it is extremely weatherproof and UV-stable as well as water-repellent. Biocide active ingredients protect the coating against mould, algae and fungal attack (film protection).
Öl-Farbe is best suited for all exterior wood for which an especially durable, biocidal and non-drip coating is desired: timber cladding, roof overhangs, gables, balconies, windows, window shutters, fencing, pergolas, wood shingles, garden sheds, carports and other dimensionally stable and instable constructional elements. Also ideal for renewing old microporous coatings and weathered wood surfaces.
Storage
5 years or longer if stored in the originally closed container. If thickened by frost, store at room temperature for 24 hours prior to use.
