Coming closer to the end-consumer with meaningful profiles

Osmo Holz und Color GmbH & Co. KG heads down new communication paths and comes directly a step closer to the end-consumer with its comprehensive social media activities. At the same time the company has optimally changed its Internet presence so that it corresponds to the new catalogue concept and to the general changes to the assortment and with regard to clarity as well as structure. 

Media dialogue on the Internet

Lately expressive profiles for Osmo can be found on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, XING, YouTube and LinkedIn. The presence in social media is directed specifically towards the end-consumer: in the form of tips and tricks about maintenance, use and installation of products, Osmo offers its “ fans” and “followers” practical benefits. Regular posts and links in social networks as well as current short messages in microblogs (Tweets) keep end-consumers in the picture. Along with this exchange of information, the presence on on-line communication platforms should serve especially as an open and direct dialogue with the end-consumer. In this way the company can not only react faster to customers’ desires, questions and needs, but also recognise trends earlier.

Website with improved search options

Corresponding to the new catalogue concept in the areas “Flooring”, “Wood Finishes” and “ Garden”, also the Internet site of Osmo has experienced a relaunch: the arrangement of products, their colour labelling as well as used icons from print brochures can now also be found on-line. That way quick orientation and higher brand recognition is guaranteed. User-friendly menus and navigational bars in the individual product groups also simplify the search for information. Moreover the product search function has been reworked and optimised. A further novelty is the “ Wood Finder”: here items in the preferred wood species can be specifically searched. At the end the list of results shows afterwards the available products in the specified wood species.
