UV-Protection-Oil maintains wood reliably – now in six colour variations

Timber in outdoor areas is gaining even more popularity – the natural raw material is sustainable and robust, and has a look of high quality. Cladding and fencing, however, constantly face wind and weather, in particular sunlight. For reliable protect against the resulting damage and optimal appearance retention, an effective surface treatment is an absolute must. Osmo Holz und Color GmbH & Co. KG have further developed their renowned UV-Protection-Oil and now offer it in six colour variations.

Retain the natural wood colour
UV-Protection-Oil Tints is a transparent coloured and lightly pigmented UV protection for wood in outdoor areas. It is only recommended for vertical wood surfaces, such as cladding, roof soffits, balcony cladding, windows and doors. The six colour variations, 424 Spruce/Pine, 426 Larch, 427 Douglas fir, 429 Natural, 428 Red Cedar and 425 Oak, offer a extensive choice and covers the range of the most commonly used wood species in outdoor areas.

Care and protection in one
UV-Protection-Oil Tints For the latter, it prolongs the renovation intervals significantly. As a single product application, it blocks the greying process with a UV protection factor 12 in comparison to untreated wood. It not only reduces the results of intensive sunlight, but also protection the coating against mould, algae and fungal attack.
